It’s the end of an excellent year for BVI Networks.
We closed a series B round with an esteemed venture capital firm, added several high-powered members to both our Board of Directors and our Industry Advisory Board, and built out our team considerably. Most importantly, we exceeded 15,000 sensors installed in more than 40 retail chains, measuring the behavior of more than 20 million shoppers per month. All this progress has been enabled by the groundbreaking RetailNext platform and its immediate ability to create positive ROI by providing the information retailers need to increase sales at the register, cut costs, and reduce shrinkage in their stores.
One consequence of this explosive growth is that many retailers, journalists, and industry watchers actually refer to the company as RetailNext and not BVI. We don’t mind because we like that name. It states what the platform does and has proven to be more memorable and communicative than the name BVI. Therefore from this point forward we’ll be branding all our outbound communication from RetailNext rather than BVI.
As we gear up for an even more successful 2012, the company has undergone a complete marketing facelift, including our newly released web site and a whole new logo and look-and-feel. You’ll see that these updated communications will come from RetailNext. Please be assured that we’re still the same company offering the same great analytics platform that you’ve come to know and depend on.
